If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase or service, we offer the following Refund and Returns Policy. By using our services or purchasing products, you agree to the terms of this policy.

1. Services Refund & Cancellation Policy

We understand that sometimes plans change, and we are happy to assist you with cancellations or rescheduling. Our refund policy for beauty services is as follows:

  • Refunds for Services: We do not offer refunds for services rendered. However, if you are dissatisfied with a service, please notify us within 24 hours of your appointment, and we will do our best to address your concerns or offer a free touch-up or correction within a reasonable time frame.
  • Cancellations: We require at least 24 hours’ notice for service cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, we may charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the service cost. No-show appointments will incur a 100% charge of the booked service fee.
  • Late Arrivals: If you arrive late for your appointment, we may not be able to provide the full service as scheduled, and you will still be charged the full amount for the booked service.

2. Product Returns & Refunds Policy

We strive to provide the highest quality products to our customers. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we offer the following return and refund guidelines:

  • Eligibility for Returns:
    • Products may be returned within 14 days of the original purchase date.
    • To be eligible for a return, products must be unused, in their original packaging, and in resalable condition.
    • Certain items, including opened skincare or beauty products, are non-returnable for hygiene and safety reasons.
  • Return Process:
    • To initiate a return, please contact us at info@polishedbeauty.co.za or call us at +27 68 070 7943 with your proof of purchase and a brief explanation of the reason for the return.
    • If your return request is approved, you will receive instructions on how to return the product.
    • Shipping costs for returns are the responsibility of the customer, unless the product is defective or incorrect.
  • Refund Process:
    • Once your returned product has been inspected and deemed eligible for a refund, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Please allow 7–14 business days for the refund to appear in your account.
    • If a product is found to be defective or damaged upon arrival, please contact us immediately. We will either issue a full refund or replace the product at no additional cost to you.

3. Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges for products purchased from Polished Beauty unless the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect. If you need an exchange for such reasons, please follow the return process above and indicate your preference for a replacement product.

4. Defective or Damaged Products

If you receive a product that is defective or damaged, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the product. We will review the issue and provide you with an appropriate resolution, which may include a full refund, a replacement, or store credit.

  • How to Report Defective or Damaged Products:

    • Provide details of the defect or damage and include a photo of the product, if possible.
  • Refunds for Damaged Products: If the product is found to be damaged or defective, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method, including any applicable shipping charges, within 7–14 business days.

5. Sale & Promotional Items

Items purchased during sales or promotional events are subject to the same return and refund policies. However, we cannot guarantee refunds for promotional or discounted items unless they are defective or damaged. In such cases, please follow the return process outlined above.

6. Gift Cards

Gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable once purchased. If you have issues with a gift card, please contact us, and we will assist you.

7. Shipping & Handling for Returns

  • Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for any return shipping costs unless the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • Original Shipping Charges: If a product is returned for a refund, the original shipping charges are not refundable unless the product is faulty or incorrect.

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after the standard processing period, please check with your bank or payment provider first, as there may be a delay in posting the refund.
